How big is the sunset circle, and can I change its size?
The projected circle grows with distance: at about 2 m from the wall you get a circle roughly 1 m wide, and at 3 m it reaches around 1.5 m. Moving the lamp closer makes a smaller, more intense circle, while pulling it back gives a softer, larger glow. Most customers place it on a nightstand or shelf about 2-2.5 m from the wall.
Can I swap between the different color moods after buying?
Yes. The lens twists off in a couple of seconds, so extra lenses can be swapped any time. Your order includes the lens you select at checkout, and additional lenses can be ordered separately if you want to rotate between sunset, golden sun, pink dusk, and aurora moods.
Does it get hot if I leave it on all evening?
No. The 5 W LED runs cool and silent, so it is safe to leave on through a movie or an evening of reading. It draws about as much power as a phone charger, and the LED is rated for 50,000 hours - years of nightly use.
